We recap the highlights from Day 4 in the Mara Triangle, Kenya. We saw a mass of wildebeest and zebras scarper after being scared off by a 15 foot crocodile at the main Mara crossing. We then moved to the next crossing point where there was already thousands of wildebeest streaming from the north and diving into the deep river. But as they ascended from the water, one unlucky wildebeest was pinned down and throttled by a starving female lion. After watching a stare down between one brave wildebeest and a group of crocodiles, we moved back to the main crossing where around 40 gazelles were attempting to cross the river. The first gazelle made it across unscathed, but the rest of the group were suddenly attacked by a large group of crocodiles and with one strike they were gone. We ended the frantically fascinating day perfectly by watching two male lions sleep in the long grass.
