Kim Kardashian Dyed Hair Pink for THIS Reason

Kim Kardashian threw caution to the wind and dyed her hair bright pink over the weekend and now we know why.
And no, the answer isn’t because she was inspired by Kylie Jenner’s many hair changes of the past.
Kim Kardashian has been rocking platinum blonde hair for several weeks now, but she recently admitted that she is totally OVER the icy locks. But instead of going back to her signature brunette style, the mother of three decided to branch out and dye her hair hot pink.
Fans were absolutely SHOOK when they saw Kim rocking the bright ‘do and immediately questioned whether or not it was a wig. But then she confirmed QUOTE “I don’t really do wigs . It’s real.” and all speculation was ended.
But what made the 37-year-old take the plunge into a colored hairstyle? Turns out, it wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision at all and she actually had been planning on making the change for quite some time.
She explained on her app QUOTE “Ever since I did the CR Fashion Book shoot and wore a pink wig, I thought it would be fun to dye my hair pink. Chris Appleton and I thought about it for a month and then decided to just go for it! Since my hair is blonde right now, it was easy to put the pink color over it. I figured now was the perfect timing!"
Her hairstylist posted a picture on Instagram of the bright pink dye he used on Kim () and explained QUOTE “There are so many types of pinks to try, so it's important that you work with a pink that suits your coloring and makeup to get the right look. I didn't want to re-bleach her hair, as I want to keep the condition strong—so, the roots worked perfectly!"
Kim has gotten tons of rave reviews on her new pink hair, but most importantly her family thinks it’s pretty awesome, too.
She continued in the blog post QUOTE “North absolutely loves it! She was so excited when she woke up to see I had pink hair. Kanye loves it, too. He thinks it's fun to mix things up."
