Kim Kardashian Gives FIRST LOOK at Chicago West on Instagram

For the first time since Chicago’s birth, Kim posted an adorable selfie on Instagram of her and the baby. In the photo, the two are seen using a Snapchat filter that gave them some pink, fuzzy ears and little button noses, and to be honest… we are absolutely LIVING for it!
If this cute little selfie wasn’t enough to prove Kim’s love for her newborn, she’s also been doting about Chicago all over Twitter. Yupp! When a fan asked for an update on the baby, Kim responded by saying, QUOTE, “The sweetest! Best baby! She looks a bit like North and a tiny bit like Saint but definitely her own person!” And now that we’ve seen the selfie, we couldn’t agree more!
Most importantly, though, it’s great to see that Kim is so in love with her brand new bundle of joy, especially because she was so concerned that she would have trouble bonding with the baby since she opted for surrogacy this time around.
On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which took place before Chicago was born, Kim addressed her concerns about surrogacy, saying, QUOTE, “I so would have rather done it on my own. I’d just rather feel connected. I just hope I care as much.” Well, it certainly seems that after she was born on January 15th, bonding hasn’t been much of a problem at all!
Kim also received a lot of flack before the baby was born for opting for surrogacy, in the first place, even though she was advised by her doctors to do so. In November, she told Entertainment Tonight, QUOTE, “Anyone that says or thinks this is the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you’re not really in control.”
Well, based on all of the gushing Kim’s been doing about Chicago on social media, we think it’s safe to say that all of the doubts and concerns she had were 100% worth it, wouldn’t you?
