Kim Kardashian Says Her Fragrance Was Inspired By Paris Robbery

Because according to Kim, the new perfume line was inspired by...her Paris robbery attack? Ok I have some questions...
It’s hard to believe at first, but it’s true. Kim has released a new fragrance collection for her KKW beauty line called Crystal Gardenia. The collection includes three variations of her fragrance, including Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus, and Crystal Gardenia Oud. I know what you’re thinking--if these are inspired by her Paris robbery attack, do they all smell like fear? Or the sudden crippling loss of millions of dollars worth of jewelry? No, it turns out the inspiration for this line is much more positive.
Kim explained to WWD that the perfume is inspired by her healing process after the Paris robbery, and a shout out to her friends who helped her recover by bringing her healing crystals. Okay that makes way more sense. Kim explained the fragrance line is all about QUOTE, “being calm and healing”, which she says has been her main focus for the past year. And even the fragrance bottles are shaped like a Crystal--which is pretty genius marketing, if you ask us.
The signature scent, Crystal Gardenia, has top notes of water lily, timeless gardenia, and tiara flower. Crystal Gardenia citrus includes top notes of sparkling citrus, woods and musks, and Crystal Gardenia Oud has top notes of lavender, red rose, and jasmine.
The fragrance line is out now, but only 300,000 units will be sold, and once they’re sold out, they’re gone, so get to ordering your pick ASAP if these scents and the inspiration behind them appeal to you. According to estimates, Kim’s fragrance line could bring in more than $14 million in minutes. So jokes on YOU, Paris robbers! But seriously, it’s great to see Kim take such a negative experience and find a positive way to move past it.
