Kim Kardashian is being sued for one of her new fragrance designs. Apparently another company already called dibs.

Kim K recently launched three new perfumes modeled after her kimojis in the shape of a peach, a cherry, and a speech bubble that says Vibes. The scents are appropriately called Vibes, Peachy, and Creamy. The fragrances were released on Tuesday and racked in $5 million in five minutes. A booming success to say the least. But with mass success sometimes comes, major scrutiny and backlash. In this case it comes in the form of a company suing Kim for allegedly stealing their logo for her “Vibes” design. According to TMZ, the lawsuit is coming from a marketing company called Vibes Media who, according to The Blast, claim they trademarked the Vibes logo in 2012. They are claiming that Kim QUOTE - "...has been marketing, promoting, and is now selling a Vibes perfume. The Vibes perfume comes in a bottle that is a close facsimile of the Registered Vibes Logo." TMZ is reporting that Vibes Media is seeking damages and is calling for all of Kim’s unsold Vibes perfumes to be destroyed due to the comparison. A rep for Kim has not responded to PEOPLE magazine’s request for comment, but something tells me that her team will know what to do because this isn’t Kim’s first rodeo when it comes to being sued over something like this. Last August, her company Kimisaprincess Inc. was slapped with a $100 million patent infringement lawsuit over the LuMee phone cases she endorses. So surely something will be worked out between Kim’s team and the Vibes marketing company. To be fair, the logos are very similar. Was it intentional or just a coincidence? What do you guys think?
