‘Shoutout To My Ex’ has been out for less than a day and while it did go to number one on iTunes in the UK, the song been getting quite a bit of backlash…
Congratulations are in order for Little Mix after their latest release and incredible X-Factor performance. The girls returned to their old stomping grounds to debut their brand new song, ‘Shoutout To My Ex,’ and naturally, Little Mix KILLED their performance.
I’m sure Perrie got quite the kick from performing that line live.
While the UK girl group received a TON of praise for their newest jam, quite a few fans on Twitter noted that ‘Shoutout To My Ex’ sounded a lot like G-R-L’s song ‘Ugly Heart.’
Shortly after the song dropped and Little Mix’s X-Factor performance, one fan ripped the girl group a new one by tweeting QUOTE, “#ShoutOutToMyEx is just a piss poor version of #UglyHeart.” While another wrote, “GRL disbands and Little Mix thought we’d forget about their only hit? Not on my watch.”
Even GRL hopped on the bandwagon and tweeted out, “#ShoutOutToUglyHeart.” This is starting to get a little ugly. If you need a little help comparing the two, I got you. Here’s ‘Shoutout To My Ex’
