Taylor Swift Accused of RIPPING OFF Beyoncé AGAIN!

Just in case you haven’t heard enough about the new Taylor Swift music video yet, I’m back again to tell you why people think she’s ripping off Beyonce!

What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr. with Clevver News. Some people noticed quite a few similarities between Taylor’s video for “You Need to Calm Down” and Beyonce’s 2011 video for “Party” featuring J. Cole

Mainly, that both videos are set in a trailer park
Some people were commenting on Taylor’s Instagram posts, saying things like

“This looks like a bootleg Beyonce Party video”
And …

“Sorry but this looks like the great value version of Beyonce’s party video. Can she ever be original?”
Of course, Taylor’s video for “You Need to Calm Down” came out only a month after she got backlash for copying Beyonce’s Coachella performance.

At the BBMAs this past May, Taylor came out with a full marching band, very reminiscent of Beyonce the year before at Coachella.
To make matters worse, Beyonce had released her Beychella documentary “Homecoming” on Netflix just two weeks before.
So I’ll give that one to Beyonce. But frankly, I’m not convinced that Taylor has ever even seen the “Party” music video. And guys, a lot of people have music videos in a trailer park

Like Eminem, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, and like, every country artist ever.
I will say that this is probably the first and only times these women have ever been in an above ground pool
I mean, I don’t know. I’m trying to be fair here but I really think people are reaching by saying Taylor copied Beyonce with this one.

Plus say what you will about Taylor but I don’t think she’s dumb enough to COPY Beyonce’s video and then put a Beyonce impersonating drag queen in the same video!
And I’m not the only one who thinks that. Someone else commented on Taylor’s Instagram saying, “Taylor can roll her eyes and some of y’all will say “why she roll her eyes like Beyonce?”
But let me know what you guys think. Is Taylor copying Beyonce here or is she just following a trend?
