The drama continues for Taylor Swift. Since releasing the first two singles off of her highly anticipated ‘Reputation’ album, Taylor has seen her fair share of positive feedback, with Swiftites rejoicing over the new music that took way too long to arrive, but was well-worth the wait.
Unfortunately, Taylor might have to put her celebration on hold to deal with some pretty serious criticism over her latest single, ‘Ready For It.’ Sice it’s release just this past weekend, copycat accusations have begun emerging online, with so many users claiming Taylor Swift ripped off Kanye West, directly comparing Taylor’s ‘Ready For It’ to Kanye’s Yeezus album, and let’s just say, the twitterverse is not impressed.
One user tweeted “This new Taylor Swift sounds like a leftover Yeezus beat.” ()
And another threw major shade writing QUOTE “that new taylor swift joint sounds like kidz bop yeezus im calling the police.”
But let’s not rule out that this could be entirely intentional. Maybe Taylor did take a cue from Kanye… subtle diss track.. that’s not really that subtle at all…
There’s really only one way to get to the bottom of this. Take a listen to ‘On Sight’ off of Kanye’s Yeezy record first.
Now, here’s Taylor’s ‘Ready For It.’
Alright, it’s your time to shine!
