OH no he didn’t’! Kanye name checked Taylor on his new single famous.. just for the record Kanye, we are pretty sure Tay would never have sex with you.
Kanye premiered his entire album “The Life of Pablo” at the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at Madison Square Garden in New York City Thursday. One of the lyrics from his single, “famous” states, “"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”
TMZ reported that Kanye called Taylor last month to give her the heads up about the song. The site claims, “She got the joke and gave him the thumbs up to release the song with the lyric.” But Taylor’s reps remember it going down a bit differently. "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message," her rep told E! News in a statement Thursday night. "Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous.'"
Though Taylor has yet to make a statement, not even 24 hours after its release, Kanye tweeted his defense this morning saying he’s an artist and will express himself with no censorship. He also said he asked for Kim K’s approval and she was cool with it. He says, calling someone a bitch is an endearing term. And he claims that the line was Taylors inspiration, by saying she was the one who said at a dinner, “I can’t be mad at Kanye, he made me famous.”
If I do recall, Taylor was receiving the award for best female video at the 2009 MTV Awards, when Kanye stormed the stage. So yeah I’m pretty sure she’s the one who made your ass famous bro!
