Kim Kardashian has officially launched her highly anticipated KKW beauty line today, and to nobody’s surprise, she’s expected to rack up more profit than I’ll ever make in my entire existence.

Because who doesn’t celebrate their new line with a mansion party complete with rose garden ceilings, 3 outfit changes and products on display in glass cases…?
It was just another normal Tuesday night for Kim Kardashian West, who transformed her own Bel Air mansion into a launch party for the launch of her new KKW Beauty Line. The contour and highlighting kit was released just this morning, and according to the success of her sister Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics launches, is expected to rake in…. you may need to sit down for this one… $14 MILLION WITHIN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES.
So let’s break this down for a sec: Kim’s beauty line is expected to rake in $14 million from her first launch in just five minutes, so $14 million divided by 5 minutes comes out to $2.8 million a minute, which is really just chump change at this point. Kim even documented the entire affair last night snapping selfies with famous friends in a room full of mirrors, ceilings lined with fresh roses and a separate room showcasing the products in glass cases.
She even documented a few VIP guest appearances by none other than her hubby Kanye West, her daughter North and momager Kris Jenner, but family members who were noticeably absent from the launch party were Kim’s sisters, including OG makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, and that’s probably because Kim revealed last night that Kylie’s cosmetics are ruining her life.
Ok, so I’m partially kidding, but Kim joked about Kylie’s lip kits in the best way possible, saying QUOTE, “I texted a picture to Kylie yesterday, and I said, ‘You're ruining my life,' and she was like, ‘What's going on?’ and I texted her all these pictures. I had to go to a wedding. I was rushing to get out of the door, and North comes down in Kylie Cosmetics' June Bug, this bright purple, all over her face. I'm late to the wedding now, getting all this makeup off of her, and she's like, ‘It's purple—it's my favorite color!’”
Ok, so if that’s not the most adorable thing you’ve heard all week, then I don’t know what to tell you, but I do want to reiterate that Kim is not at all in competition with Kylie’s line. In fact, she stated many differences from both cosmetic lines, including this one, saying, “I am older than Kylie. We definitely have a different audience. We do have a lot of similar things — but we aren’t doing the same products. We’re really cautious of that. We work together to make sure that we don’t overlap like that. Ultimately, I think once it launches and people see we are a really different brand, it will be able to co-exist, but be so separate.”
But if you’re a total contour newb, like I am, Kim posted an Instagram tutorial explaining the simple steps for using her contour and highlight sticks in just 5 minutes, making us all wonder why we should ever bother using anything but these in the future…
