Sg. Besar UMNO Division Chief Jamal Md Yunos today brought several cartons of beer to the Selangor State Secretariat to be delivered to Menteri Besar Azmin Ali in protest against beer festivals being allowed in the state.
Along with 20 supporters, Jamal was stopped by security at the gate. Following which, he proceeded to smash the beer bottles with a sledgehammer.
He left the scene without clearing the mess he made. Shah Alam police have confirmed a report was lodged against Jamal and investigations are being carried out under Section 143 of the Penal Code.
