[KiniNews] Najib Abdul Razak is disappointed with today’s Federal Court decision granting the attorney-general (AG)’s leave application to challenge the former prime minister's attempt to prove the existence of a royal addendum regarding his jail sentence.

According to lawyer Shafee Abdullah, Najib was upset as it would further delay his opportunity to get the case heard in court.

“He was disappointed because this would further delay the court process. It has been a year and four months now," said Shafee.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, MCA secretary-general Chong Sin Woon has called on the party to take charge of its own future if BN continues to delay making clear decisions regarding its direction.

Speaking at the opening of the Selayang MCA division’s 2025 annual general meeting last night, Chong said MCA had already given BN more than two years to recalibrate after GE15, but the coalition’s ongoing indecision has left MCA members frustrated and uncertain.
