[KiniNews] Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh appears to be recalcitrant after his party chief reminded members to stop disturbing component parties of the coalition government.
Akmal told others that they should not disturb them first, albeit without referring to Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s warning.
“Do not think that we will stay quiet when you mess with us. While some others might (keep their heads down), but we won’t be,” he added.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, lawyers acting for former finance minister Daim Zainuddin have questioned why police are investigating the Bloomberg article instead of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
This is over a police report lodged by Daim’s wife Na’imah Abdul Khalid on the article that had cited sources as claiming that Anwar had ordered MACC chief Azam Baki to investigate the premier’s rivals, including Daim.
