PKR's Sidam representative Dr Robert Ling Kui Ee and Lunas representative Azman Nasrudin have announced their resignation from the party, resulting in Pakatan Harapan losing power in Kedah.
The pair made the announcement at a press conference this afternoon, which was streamed on Facebook.
Azman said they were now independent representatives that supported Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and the formation of a new Perikatan Nasional state government.
Meanwhile, Malaysia today recorded 16 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest in two months, according to Health Ministry (MOH) director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
