[KiniNews] PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan has told DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang to advise the party's ally Umno to consider changing its president rather than weighing on PAS-related matters.
Takiyuddin said this is because the coalition government, especially its component Umno, is facing an erosion of trust and support among voters in recent days.
"If Lim thinks he has the right to question the change of leadership in parties other than DAP, it would be wise of him to advise his ally Umno, which is fast losing support among its members, and the public," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said having PAS vice-president Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar in Parliament could help to cool down the nation’s political tensions.
Speaking to reporters in Putrajaya today, Anwar said this is as the Terengganu menteri besar is a moderate politician compared to other PAS leaders.
