[KiniNews] Police have recorded the statements of two Malaysiakini staff regarding allegations made by Abdul Hamid Bador in his last press conference as the inspector-general of police (IGP) in Bukit Aman, on April 30.

Malaysiakini Bahasa Malaysia desk editor Jimadie Shah Othman was questioned for about three hours starting at 11.30am while KiniTV broadcast journalist Vivian Yap spoke to the police for about two hours.

Jimadie and Yap were among those questioned about the content of Hamid’s press conference, the attendance at the event, and details of the news reports and video broadcasts carried by Malaysiakini and KiniTV.
