#KiniNews: Muda ‘blue ticked’ by Harapan, minister's private secretary arrested

[KiniNews] Muda hopes to sort out issues surrounding its application to join Pakatan Harapan before thinking about seat allocations for the forthcoming state elections.

Its president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said his party is still awaiting an answer from Harapan on its application to join the coalition.

Last September, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke confirmed that the Harapan presidential council has received Muda's application to become part of the coalition, and said it would be discussed.

However, a decision has yet to be made despite Muda sending four letters to the coalition seeking an answer on the matter.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, the MACC has nabbed a second officer linked to Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar in connection with its graft probe on migrant workers hiring quota approvals.

When contacted, MACC chief Azam Baki confirmed the arrest and remand of Sivakumar's private secretary.
