#KiniNews: Najib says critics talking ‘nonsense’, Malaysia ready for endemic phase

[KiniNews] Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak said he will explain to the Dewan Rakyat about his remarks - that 1MDB’s debts were not paid using taxpayers’ money - after the Johor state polls are concluded.

Najib’s statement also drew the ire of former premier Muhyiddin Yassin, who refuted the claim that no public funds were used to repay the principal amount of 1MDB debts.

In response to this, Najib during today’s presser regarded the Perikatan Nasional chairperson as talking “nonsense”.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Putrajaya today announced further relaxations in Covid-19 protocols, including the reopening of the country’s borders from April 1 onwards.
