[KiniNews] Former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin has lauded two Umno members who filed a notice of objection to the Registrar of Societies over the 'no contest' motion passed at last weekend’s Umno general assembly.

Khairy praised their action and said that there are still brave and level-minded individuals in Umno.

The two Umno members, Kuala Terengganu Umno member Muhammad Aizat Fikri Mohd Nasir and Negeri Sembilan Umno member Muhammad Fiqri Firdaus Muhammad Rom had filed the objection earlier today.

They claimed that the resolution passed to not have the Umno’s top two positions open for contest in the party’s forthcoming election is invalid and contravenes the party constitution.
