Umno's top brass will decide soon whether to impose a "no-contest" policy for the top two positions, said party secretary-general Ahmad Maslan.
Ahmad said the matter will be discussed during the party's supreme council meeting on Jan 12, on the eve of the party's special national delegates meeting.
"There has been no decision yet on the matter. We will have to wait (after the supreme council meeting)."
