#KiniNews: Umno-PAS spat continue over Hadi’s ‘charity’, PN open to welcoming KJ

[KiniNews] The verbal scrimmage between Umno and PAS over cash handouts to voters during the last general election has taken a mental health twist.

Nur Jazlan Mohamed struck a nerve when he diagnosed PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang as suffering from “extreme political depression”.

However, PAS Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari claimed it was the Johor Umno deputy chairperson who is suffering from a psychological disorder.

On Sunday, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi called the PAS president a “hypocrite”,
saying: “It’s charity if Hadi does it but corruption if others do it.”

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Perikatan Nasional (PN) and its component PAS are willing to accept any political leader or individual in their fold if they shared the same agenda for the rakyat.

This was PAS vice-president Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar's response when asked whether the coalition would accept former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin into PN or PAS if he gets kicked out of Umno.
