DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang has called on all parties and candidates in the upcoming state elections to enter into an agreement to not exploit issues involving race, religion and royalty.
In a statement today, he said this is to ensure that the six state polls are clean and honest.
Kit Siang also called on the parties involved in the state polls to set up a mechanism to expose any lies, falsehoods, fake news and hate speech during the election campaign.
