Lil Wayne Forced To Make Emergency Plane Landing After Suffering Two Seizures

After suffering two seizures back to back during a long, cross-country flight, Lil Wayne is currently doing just fine.
Following a very rough weekend, it’s safe to say that many people were worried when news of Lil Wayne’s seizures and emergency landings broke on Monday afternoon. The rapper was in the middle of a flight from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to California when his private jet was forced to touch down in Omaha, Nebraska after his first attack.
E! News reports that by the time the ambulance and rescue fire department finally responded to the medical call, Lil Wayne refused medical treatment and the plane took off. It wasn’t too long after the initial take off that Lil Wayne suffered from ANOTHER minor seizure and the aircraft was forced to land in Omaha once again.
A source revealed to TMZ that Lil Wayne lost consciousness and that the paramedics treated the rapper on the aircraft. Roughly 30 minutes after their second landing, Lil Wayne was transported to a nearby hospital.
Thankfully, the rapper is doing much better after his multiple health scares. A rep for Lil Wayne told E! News QUOTE, “We can confirm that he did experience two minor seizures yesterday. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits. He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers, and well wishes.”
This is not the first time Lil Wayne was hospitalized due to his seizures. About three years ago, the rapper revealed to his fans that he suffers from epilepsy and is “prone to seizures.” It’s not brand new information, but that doesn’t necessarily make any of his future seizures less scary to his fans, friends, and family.
