It all started when a girl named Sophia Robb wore her retainer to the movies when she went to go see Black Panther. Then apparently she broke her retainer when Michael B Jordan who plays the villain in the movie - Eric Killmonger – took his shirt off. Yes this really happened.
The reason we all know about this is because her orthodontist shared the story on Tumblr of a girl who was QUOTE “thirsting so damn hard she busted steel” over a scene where Michael B Jordan takes his shirt off. The story made its way to Twitter where Sophia Robb came across it and was shook. She tweeted saying QUOTE “Wait. That girl is me. That is my orthodontist’s tumblr. This is a post about me?” Then went on to say QUOTE “this is litterally my orthodontist and he's the chillest person i have ever met even though he eXPOSED ME ON THE INTERNET”
Can you imagine?! The best part about this whole story though is that Sophia’s tweets went viral. SO viral that Michael B Jordan caught wind of it, followed Sophia Robb on twitter and then messaged her privately! Sophia tweeted her excitement by saying “this is the best day of my life.” And THEN Michael B Jordan offered to hook her up with a new retainer by tweeting on his own page saying QUOTE since I feel partly responsible for breaking your retainers let me know if I can replace them.
Low key though, I really hope Sophia let’s Michael B pay for them though because retainers are expensive!
