The Aliens are coming! The Aliens are coming! To the Voice that is. Miley and Alicia are taking over the show. Blake, Adam, beware.
NBC just dropped their new promo for season 11 of the Voice and holy chips and salsa that thing is weird! And awesome!
The newest season of the Voice is going to be out of this world. You’ve got the OG crew Adam Levine and Blake Shelton being joined by two badass femme fatales Alicia mother freaking Keys and THE Miley Cyrus! What an amazing set of super star coaches. And clearly, their embracing the whole “this season is out of this world” theme with this promo that’s a throwback to our favorite aliens franchise- Men In Black.
Alicia Keys- the queen of rhythm and blues looking gorgeous and natural faced. And Miley, going in the complete opposite direction is donning a silver sequined bodysuit, a white wig, and teal eye brows because of course. I cannot wait for the Voice to finally return with these 4 strong personalities at the center of it. That will happen on Monday, September 19 at 8 p.m. and we’ll also get to see a whole new set of mentors, including Bette Midler, Charlie Puth, Sammy Hagar, and Joan Jett. However, NBC will be airing a special preview of Season 11 on Sunday, August 21, after the closing ceremony of the Olympics. That’s two birds with one stone. Just order in and don’t move off your couch on August 21st. But anyway, about the promo- what do you think? Is this the most exciting cast of mentors yet in the history of the show? I’m personally dying to see Miley be Miley. Home girl could have her own show, if you ask me. And Alicia is the stuff of legends. So this might be the best season yet.
