Miley Cyrus gives a shout out to her brother Braison for his runway debut, but she may have gotten him fired after dissing the designer he walked for!
Miley’s little bro Braison just walked for Dolce & Gabbana for the first and probably last time, and it’s all because of an Instagram post.
23-year-old Braison Cyrus walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana’s show in Milan on Saturday, and his older sis Miley took to Instagram to congratulate him. Miley shared a picture of Braison from the show along with a caption that read in part QUOTE, "Congrats @braisonccyrus on walking in your 1st runway show... It's never been my little brothers dream to be a model as HE is one of the most talented musicians my ears have ever been given the gift of hearing.... BUT it is a Cyrus family trait to try everything once (within reason HA) and to embrace opportunities that encourage you to step out of your comfort zone!...I am so proud of you always...From Nashville to Italy!"
While the sentimental shout out to her bro was filled with all kinds of sweetness, at the end of the post Miley added a slight diss to his employers, Dolce & Gabbana, writing QUOTE, "PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics....but I do support your company's effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!"
While Miley didn’t mention any specific politics, many speculated that she was calling out Stefano Gabbana’s strong support of First Lady Melania Trump, and his willingness to dress her. It didn’t come as a huge surprise that the designer clapped back at Miley’s diss, as he wrote QUOTE, “Ignorant!!!” in the comment section of the post. He then left another comment insinuating that the label will not be working with Braison again. That comment read QUOTE, "For your stupid comment never more work with him" followed by a series of thumbs down emojis.
Yikes! Let’s hope Braison didn’t enjoy walking that D&G runway too much, because it doesn’t sound like he’s going to be working with them again anytime soon...
