Miley Cyrus has been involved in some major Hollywood breakups, but now she’s speaking out about her most important relationship, which only involves herself.
So since Miley called off her engagement to Liam Hemsworth and then came her most recent breakup with Patrick Schwarzenegger, shockingly enough, the singer is anything but a wreck, so it’s safe to say you won’t see her crying into a huge box of chocolates any time soon…
But seriously, Miley recently revealed to Time Magazine that she’s totally OK being single, saying, QUOTE, "It has a lot to do with being a feminist, but I'm finally OK with being alone. I think that's something we have to talk about more: that you can be alone. My future doesn't rely on having a partner."
And after Miley’s recent interview about admitting to dating men AND women, she admits that she’s also learned that her future doesn’t have to rely on having a partner. She said, QUOTE, "There are times in my life where I've had boyfriends or girlfriends. And there are times where I just love being with myself and don't want to give part of myself away to someone else. I think that's a new freedom for women, especially. I don't know that my mother would have been able to be 22 and secure in being alone."
Now that’s not to say that if she does find someone she won’t be open to a relationship, but for now, ya girl’s just doin’ her own thang and there ain’t nothing wrong with that!
