Miley Cyrus Talks Giving Up Weed, New Song "Malibu" & Falling In Love Again With Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus gets candid for Billboard magazine and dishes on re-falling in love with Liam Hemsworth, giving up the green stuff, and her new single “Malibu”!
Miley Cyrus never really left, but it’s been a minute since we’ve had new Miley music. The singer covers the new Billboard issue looking natural posing among leaves while wearing a retro pink dress.
So what’s Miley been up to aside from coaching on The Voice? Miley has been holed up in her Rainbow Land Malibu compound making music that she promises to be different from anything we’ve heard. And in an effort to be extra clear and sharp in her focus, Miley even admitted to Billboard she’s given up weed for the moment. 3 weeks and counting. Miley revealed QUOTE, “It’s easy, dude. When I want something, it’s f*cking easy for me. But if anyone told me not to smoke, I would have not done it. It’s because it was on my time. I know exactly where I am right now.”
On May 11th we’ll get Miley’s new single “Malibu”, a love song about her fiance Liam that she wrote while in an Uber. Billboard reveals the song is an honest pop rock track unlike her previous work, with one lyric singing, “I never would’ve believed you if three years ago you told me I’d be here writing this song.” Other notable tracks on her upcoming untitled album include a song for Hillary Clinton and a song for women in the workplace.
Also in her sit down with Billboard Miley dished on how she had to reignite her relationship with Liam after their breakup saying QUOTE, “I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to refall for each other.” When asked if Miley likes masculine guys she said QUOTE, “I’m with a straight dude. But he’s always like, ‘Well, don’t call me that!’ I ask him sometimes, ‘Do you like being a boy?’ And he’s like, ‘I don’t really think about it.’”
