Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said firefighters are using total flooding and aerial water-bombing methods to stop the raging forest fires in both Kuala Baram and Miri districts.
He said results are promising with fires in an area the combined size of 654 football fields having been doused.
