Government MPs voted and passed a motion to refer Wan Saiful Wan Jan (PN-Tasek Gelugor) to the Dewan Rakyat’s Rights and Privileges Committee today.
In a press conference later, Perikatan Nasional chief whip Takiyuddin Hassan argued that the motion should not have proceeded as it violated Standing Orders.
He said this as the matter was under court consideration and had elements of sub-judice.
