Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming questioned the government over their new policy requiring coffee shops selling beer to apply for a new license in the Dewan Rakyat today.
He said the shops already have to pay for several licenses and the costs would eventually be passed on to the consumers.
Earlier today it was reported that coffee shops selling beer will be required to apply for a new licence from Jan 1 as part of a new federal government policy.
