Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir on Friday said negotiations are ongoing with opposition parties in the state over the appointment of a speaker as it was not to anyone's interest to trigger a state election at the moment. He was speaking to reporters after the Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting on Friday.
