The public will be able to check if they are eligible for the MySalam insurance scheme for the bottom 40 percent (B40) income group from March 1 onwards.
The checks can be performed on the www.mysalam.com.my.
Announcing this in a statement on Tuesday, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng reiterated that policyholders would benefit from a one-off payment of RM8,000 should they suffer from one of the 36 critical illnesses listed.
