For his latest social media stunt, former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak posted a short video of himself looking for the proposed Penang undersea tunnel while he stood on a beach overlooking the Penang Strait.
Work on the undersea tunnel and three paired roads linking Butterworth to the island is only expected to commence on Aug 31.
In the video, Najib gestured that he wasn't able to locate the undersea tunnel while he stood above the water's surface.
Penang exco Dr Afif Bahardin wants Najib to explain what happened to the funds allegedly swindled from 1MDB, instead of mocking the state's undersea tunnel project.
