Time magazine has just announced their list of the most influential teenagers in the entertainment world and beyond, and Clevver News has got all of the deets.
Yes, though some of these teens aren’t even old enough to vote yet – they’re making HUGE headlines for a number of reasons.
The full list has quite the range of names, but some of the most recognizable people include 18 year old Kendall Jenner, 16 year old Vine superstar Nash Grier, and 17 year old Grammy winning Lorde. Other celebs who were named include Chloe Grace Moretz, Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, Becky G, Austin Mahone, Shawn Mendes, Jaden Smith, and beauty blogger Dancing With The Stars celeb Bethany Mota.
However, it’s not just mainstream celebs who are making the cut, as the incredibly inspiring Malala Yousafzai is also part of the list. And considering she just won a Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17 being an education activist, she MORE than earned her spot. Other inspiring teens include 13 year old softball player Mo’ne Davis who pitched a shutout game during the Little League World series this summer proving the phrase “you throw like a girl” to become pretty much obsolete. And we also have to give it up for pro golfer Lydia Ko who kicking butt and taking names in a mostly male dominated sport. Oh, and first daughters Malia and Sasha Obama are also among the chosen teens. That is some serious GIRL POWER you guys.
How AMAZING are these teens? We really gotta hand it to all of them, they sure are getting a lot done. And dare we say, they even make some ADULTS look bad!
