Umno Youth Chief Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh expressed confidence today that the youth wing is ready to contest the upcoming Mahkota by-election in Johor.
The by-election, set for Sept 28, follows the passing of the Umno incumbent, Sharifah Azizah Syed Zain, on Aug 2. Last week, Umno clinched the Nenggiri state seat in the PAS stronghold of Kelantan.
