Honestly, who knew that Lara Jean could turn into a major creep with just a few slight tweaks?
In honor of Halloween, the Netflix teamed gave a few of their biggest flicks and shows of 2018 a spooky little remake. After releasing fake horror trailers for both ‘The Kissing Booth’ and ‘The Crown,’ Netflix dropped one for ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved’ and it was pretty frightening to say the least.
By now – or at least I hope by now because the movie has been out for quite some time -- we all know how Lara Jean’s story goes. She’s this sweet teen who writes a love letter to well, all the boys she’s loved before. Pretty simple and adorable, right?
Well, Netflix decided to take that premise and turn it into a fairly dark story by pairing eerie background music with some actual lines from the movie and it made us all realize that the original story might’ve been a little creepy.
Add in a few chilling cutaways, a couple of red filters over the boys Lara has written letters to and we all get a crazier teenage love story than we bargained for.
‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before?’ More like ‘To All The Boys I’ve Killed Before,’ am I right?
Anyway, what did you guys think of this chilling remake? Did it absolutely convince you that ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ should be remade into a horror film?
