To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is inspiring fans to write love letters to their crushes
Could this movie get any cuter?
Netflix has found an absolute hit with their new movie To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The teenage rom-com has captured people’s hearts all around the world, and now fans are taking their love for the film off-screen.
In the movie, the main character Lara Jean writes five love letters to her present and past crushes. She doesn’t intend for any of them to actually see the letters, but it’s a different story for some of the fans of the movie.
Over on Twitter, Netflix encouraged fans to write their crush a secret letter and send it to them via email. The streaming platform then decided to share a selection of letters (anonymously of course) and tagged the Twitter accounts of the recipients. As you can imagine, they were totally adorable.
One lovebird wrote in QUOTE: “You give me the biggest butterflies. No, not butterflies. You give me the whole damn zoo. Love U so much, you are my life.”

Another wrote QUOTE: “I met you 15 years ago on 8/23/03. You’re currently my husband. I still have a crush.”

And of course, there were letters for Lana Candor and Noah Centineo, too. One fan wrote to Lana QUOTE: “You are endlessly beautiful and inspiring. You are such a kindhearted and amazing woman. Thank you for everything and for helping girls like me feel seen.”

Noah received the most letters, hundreds according to Netflix, but they only chose just one to share. It read QUOTE: “You have one of the kindest, brightest souls I have ever had the experience to witness. You always seem to find the light and love in people and it's really astonishing that there are still people like that around. You have a brilliant heart and mindset that isn't complimented quite enough. I hope you see the world and fall in love with every aspect of life just like the world has fallen in love with you.”

Is someone cutting onions in here? I’m getting a little teared up. But no seriously, these secret love letters are actually kind of a good idea. Would you guys write your crush a love letter?
