A Kelantan-based lawyer has expressed hope that today's Federal Court ruling that struck down Kelantan's 16 syariah criminal provisions would lead to states being more careful in drafting laws.
Nik Elin Abdul Rashid said she was thankful to God for today's ruling, which upheld the supremacy of the Federal Constitution and for the betterment of Malaysia.
