Anthony Loke said the cost to introduce EV buses is too high and the government won't be looking into it in the near future.
The Transport minister was replying to Tanjong Karang MP Zulkafperi Hanapi, who suggested using EV buses to reduce carbon emissions.
Loke added that another issue that needs to be looked into was the charging facilities for buses.
