Rihanna just hand picked her first official ambassador for her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, and it’s none other than our girl Normani. I couldn’t possibly stan this collab any more.What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and it was just announced that Normani is Savage x Fenty’s first official spokesperson.Normani posted the news on her Instagram wearing head to toe Savage x Fenty holiday collection lingerie.And we couldn’t be more excited for both Normani and Rihanna. It’s not everyday that two queens like these two work together, and I am so here for it.This collab comes a couple months after Normani slayed her performance during the Savage x Fenty show, making her the OBVIOUS choice for brand ambassador.

Normani told Vogue how she was asked to work with Savage x Fenty officially.And Normani loves everything Rihanna and her brand stand for.Speaking of which, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty fashion show really did change the narrative.In the special, while reviewing potential models for the show, Rihanna made it VERY clear that diversity and inclusivity were key, saying that quote "every woman deserves to feel sexy."Which is obviously different than how lingerie fashion shows have been in the past.Oh sorry bout that, I just had a little tickle in my throat.Anyway, moving on, during her fashion show performance, Normani, obviously wore lingerie from the brand but even she had to "have a conversation with herself" beforehand about her confidence.And Normani will DEFINITELY be a part of the brand’s continued growth. She seems to really embody everything that Savage x Fenty is.In her Vogue interview Normani also talked about what she loves about wearing Savage x Fenty lingerie.And fans couldn’t be more excited for this collab.And I’m just gonna say it to put it out into the universe, now that Normani and Rihanna are officially working together, maybe… just MAYBE they will eventually work together.A guy can dream. But anyway, it’s not just the Savage x Fenty collab that Normani is slaying right now, she is absolutely killing it this year.She’s toured with Ariana Grande, joined the Voice as an advisor, performed at the VMA’s, oh and her song Motivation was her third straight solo top 40 hit.So yeah, it’s safe to say Normani is having the year of her life.But fans just want to know, when is her album coming out?!It’s a big deal because it will be her first full solo album since her Fifth Harmony days and we are so ready for it.All of her singles have been one better than the last, but we are ready for a full blown album from our girl NormaniAbout a month ago she opened up a little bit about her album, which she is working on with Pharrell, to KIIS FM.Vogue did confirm that the album is coming at some point in 2020, but didn’t give any specific date. Like 2020 could mean in 2 months or it could be this time next year.We have no idea but Normani made a promise either way.Alright, alright I’ll be patient.I’m just happy to see Normani killing it in every area of her life. Someone as talented as her really does deserve it.But I want to know what you guys think.
