One Direction showed off their dancing skills on SNL but don’t worry, it was just for a skit. We all love 1D but it’s no secret that they’re not the most coordinated which made their dancing cameo in the SNL Girlfriends Talk Show skit that much more enjoyable.
In the skit, Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong of SNL played two friends hosting a talk show. At first Aidy claims to be a dancer but when Cecily brings Amy Adams on the show, who plays the dance captain, she reveals that Aidy is not actually part of the team.
Matters get even more awkward when Cecily invites the male dancers of the squad, aka One Direction, and Aidy struggles to keep her cool.
It was a hoot.
In other exciting 1D news, tomorrow NBC will be bringing us the One Direction TV Special which will be a combo of behind the scenes material, comical shenanigans from the South American leg of their tour, musical performances, as well as an inside look into the boys recording FOUR. In the hour long special, viewers will also see 1D surprising fans at theme parks and interviewing one another while riding a roller coaster. So fun right?
In the press release 1D says QUOTE – “We’re really proud of our first TV Special. We had a great time filming the different parts both in Orlando and on the road in South America. We can’t wait for our fans to see it.”
We can’t wait either! The 1D TV Special is set to air on NBC tomorrow at 8PM Eastern time. So be sure to set those DVR’s now so you don’t miss any of the excitement.
