One Direction "Midnight Memories" Disappoints on Singles Chart

Is the spell that One Direction cast on the world starting to fade? Well, it kinda, sorta, maybe looks that way a little bit -- but clearly not to all Directioners. Here's the story. So the guys released the third single off their third album Midnight Memories last week -- which was also the album's title track -- but it hasn't been doing so hot on the charts. In fact the latest data reports that it's projected to not even land on the top 30! Before this, 1D's lowest-charting songs were "One Thing" and "Kiss You" back in 2012, and both of those singles at least cracked the top 10 by landing at number nine. However, let's not fret as the boys made US chart history with the release of Midnight Memories, since they were the first group to ever have their first three albums debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, and that ain't too shabby if you ask us. Also, the boys have another opportunity to release more chart-topping songs since they've been working with Good Charlotte on yet another upcoming album. Oh, and let's not forget about the fact that they're embarking on another world tour this year! So we're fighting back against the haters to say that it seems like 1D TOTALLY still rules the music world -- and probably will for quite some time.
