Umno has suspended its youth wing's executive council member Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris for six years after he was found to have violated the party constitution.

Azri (above), also known as Papagomo, had his membership suspended from Aug 27.

This was communicated in a letter dated September 1, which was signed by Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan, that was sighted by Malaysiakini.
