A fractured BN united together with PAS today, to lodge a police report against Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng's remarks that Umno and PAS were "waging war" on non-Malays.
The report was lodged by Umno Youth chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, MIC Youth chief R Thinalan, MCA Youth secretary Daniel Wa Wai How and Federal Territories PAS Youth leader Mohd Shahir Abu Hassan.
Speaking to the press after lodging the report, Asyraf said there will be protests if Lim doesn't apologise for his remarks.
Yesterday, Lim issued a statement in Chinese urging MCA to immediately leave BN because Umno and PAS were now "declaring war" on non-Muslims.
He issued a correction at about 10pm last night which replaced the phrase "declaring war" with "targeting". Both the original statement and the corrected version were in Chinese and issued in his capacity as DAP leader.
