The Penang state government finally signed the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) pledge on Friday with 10 integrity measures added.
Pledge was read by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and witnessed by MACC chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad.
Dzullkifli said as a Penangite, he was honoured to witness the ceremony and was initially concerned when the state government delayed in signing the pledge.
Lim said Penang is first state in country to include 10 integrity measures in the pledge of combatting graft.
