Going through a break up publicly like Perrie did is probably the worst feeling ever, but according to the Little Mix singer, there was at least ONE major benefit to her break up!
No, it wasn’t all the attention she received, it was something much different! After being named Woman of the year by Fabulous, Perrie opened up for the first time about going through her horrible break-up in the public eye. As difficult as it was for her, she managed to find that silver lining through it all. Perrie told the magazine QUOTE, ‘As difficult as it can be to have your private life plastered all over the press and on social media every day, I guess the one plus side is that it is like a looking glass for other women to look in and relate to. I learn new things every day, but I’ve learned that no matter what life throws at you, you take it day by day.’
As 2015 is coming to an end, it’s safe to say that lesson was one of the biggest life lessons Perrie learned all year. Speaking of the end of the year, before 2015 wraps up, we still have Christmas to get through and for the holidays, the girls of Little Mix got together to spread holiday cheer by remembering some of their favorite Christmas memories, boys, and how they really feel about mistletoe. Spoiler alert, Perrie, Jade, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne had some mixed feelings about the holiday plant, but P said it best when she said…
I totally agree. Sadly it hasn’t worked out for the singer yet. Girlfriend recalled a memory of herself bringing the kissy plant to school one day and well, it didn’t end too well for her.
So sad! The girls also went on to talk about whether or not they plan their gifts months in advanced or get them last minute…(Jade learned from her mistake after trying to get all her gifts last minute last year, so you can bet that she won’t be doing it again this holiday season), they all agreed that Love Actually is their favorite Christmas film, and of course were torn between calling Santa Claus ‘Santa’ or ‘Father Christmas.’ Ah, these gals are so CUTE!
