PETRONAS subsidiaries in Bintulu hosted “Ngiling Tikai”, with more than 1,000 longhouse folks from Sebauh area at Rumah Panjang Meikle Ding, Sekutan, Sebauh. Officiated by Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, the celebration marks the end of a month-long Gawai Dayak festival.
The highlight of the celebration was the rolling of the mat (tikai) along with ‘Ngetas Ranyai’ (cutting of the ceremonial palm tree) to signify the end of the Gawai celebration. #ngilingtikai #gawaidayak #festive
