Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's official vehicle was spotted heading inside the Kedah palace in Kuala Lumpur leading to speculations of a change in the state MB.
Najib's car was spotted entering the Darul Aman palace at about 8:18am.
The visit today is ahead of the Umno Supreme Council meeting later this afternoon where Kedah's embattled MB Mukhriz Mahathir is scheduled to attend.
Mukhriz faces a crisis of confidence from elected assemblyperson following his deputy Umno state liason chief Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah declaring the BN assemblyperson do not have confidence with Dr Mahathir Mohamad's son to lead the state.
