Reporters descended upon Jalan Langgak Duta amid speculation that former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak will be arrested at his private residence last night.
About 30 reporters were seen on standby near a junction leading Najib's home, which has been cordoned off with yellow tape.
However, no police vehicles nor visitors were seen entering or leaving the compound the whole night.
Four plainclothes police officers, believed to be from the Sentul police headquarters, were seen guarding the entrance of the home.
